I’ve always been the kind of guy who loves weird little facts. Not in a “quiz show champion” kind of way – more like the guy who blurts out, “Did you know octopuses have three hearts?” while you’re just trying to enjoy your fries. I don’t know when it started exactly, but I’ve always had a soft spot for stuff that makes people stop mid-sentence and say, “Wait, really?”
Somewhere along the line, after years of rattling off bizarre world records and riddles at barbecues and boring meetings, my wife (who’s a very patient woman) said, “You know, you should just start a blog or something.” So I did. That’s how TheTriviaFeed.com was born – part hobby, part outlet, part way to spare my friends from daily text messages like, “Do you know where the world’s largest building int he shape of a chicken is?”
I live in Kansas, spend a good chunk of my free time at trivia nights, and probably own more dusty puzzle books than any one human needs. Our cat, Waffles, watches me write like she’s judging every word (and she probably is). I’m not an expert – I just think the world is way more fun when you’re curious about it. If you do too, well… welcome. You’re in the right place.
